Back then, you really only did it because you might need some help with Great Buildings or you were buying goods maybe some diplomatic relations. It MIGHT result in a lost battles. Before the advent of the Friend’s Tavern, there wasn’t as big a push to get people, and keep people, on your friend’s list. Imagine someone to remove all current members and add all opponents - which can see not only strategy but as well as timing of posting. Of course it does not apply to lets say GVG planning - make sure you give the admin rights there only to players who you really DO trust.(It might sound dangerous but in fact is not - the worst what can happen is that you will have to leave old thread and start a new one) For example If you would give administrator role to a different player - he or she can remove your admin rights to this particular thread. Removing administrator role: is available to ALL administrators not only the creator of the thread.(well if that would be a hostile takeover a thread - you can just start a new one without that person OR without the admin rights) Including removing players or disabling admin roles. Giving Administrator role: Will allow that player to do all the described options above in THIS PARTICULAR THREAD - and nowhere else.Removing person from the thread will remove it from just this one particular thread - All other threads, guild membership, privileges etc remain intact. Additional information that are rather obvious but just as a statement:
